NS 3 has been released!

Cheating-Death removed -

The anticheat Cheating-Death has been removed from both of the Jolt Ns public servers, in an effort to increase their popularity, and partly because it's not an infallible anticheat. It's been known to crash some user's computers, so for the moment it will remain disabled. |

How to play NS with Steam.. -

Hopefully in the near future a proper Natural Selection steam file (.gcf) will become available, to make the following a lot easier. This may well happen when the next update of NS is released, but time will tell.
For now, it is possible to make NS work via steam, but requires a bit of work.

The 2 linux test server have now been shutdown but we still have 2 good ns server ready for you to go out and kill aliens on.

We've updated our rules for the newly released Natural Selection 2.0
Rules preventing people from building sensory and movement chambers as the first hive upgrade have now been removed.
The rule against silent bunny hopping has also been removed since bunny hopping is no longer possible. |
